
Progress Surf Academy - Terms and Conditions

- The location of surf lessons may vary. It is the responsibility of the customer to make them selves aware of, where the lessons will be held. This can be done by contacting us at least 2 hours before the lesson start.
- A ‘Group Booking’ is considered as such when four people or more, who are organised by the same group leader, book their lesson(s) collectively.
- LEA, club and society prices are to be charged to any such group regardless of set up or organisation of the group.
- The category and definition of which any group fits into will be defined by Progress surfing and is not open to debate.
- A group will only receive a group discount when 8 or more book collectively, unless discount otherwise built into our pricing structure.
- Any customer will only be entitled to one discount at a time (either/or).
- The pricing of squad sessions, after school surf club and summer holiday surf club, is only offered to those children who live in Swansea and these prices will not honoured for children who live outside the county.
- Squad sessions, after school surf club and summer holiday surf club are only open to private/individual bookings and do not apply to group bookings.
- A booking is considered provisional until cash/cheque/visa payment for total cost is received by Progress (cheques made payable to Progress Surf Academy).
- The balance owing for any lessons or courses (standard/group/squad or concession) must be paid in full prior to the start of the first lesson.
- We need a final number of participants at least seven days prior to the first lesson.
- If you have booked and paid for any lesson(s) then people drop out within seven days of the start of the course, the original quoted price will be charged.
- If you cancel your lesson(s) within seven days of the first lesson, your deposit cannot be returned although an alternative date for your lesson(s) may be arranged.
- We may be able to fit people in at short notice, it is best to phone us to check.
- If we have to cancel a lesson, we can reschedule for the next available date. If this is not satisfactory, we will refund in full and no payment is required.
- The decision made as to whether the lesson may go ahead is made by the senior instructor on duty.
- Lesson times may vary. Although we make every effort to meet our customers needs.
- The surf academy will not supervise groups when not taking part in surf lessons, unless pre-arranged cover is negotiated with the surf academy manager (Mr D.Williams)
- Progress only has one sanction in the case of miss-behaviour, and although we have never had cause to implement it, we reserve the right to exclude any surf student from a lesson.
- Progress, reserves the right, to refuse to trade with any person(s) or organisation at any time without being abliged to give notice or reason.
